After a long two-year hiatus, Coachella is back baby - and so is Coachella fashion!

With one weekend down, one to go, we’ve already seen 10/10 outfits on stage at this iconic music festival - including Harry Styles in an all-over sequin jumpsuit and Megan Thee Stallion in space-age silver. But as celeb attendees like Vanessa Hudgens or the Jenner sisters would attest, off stage is where the magic really happens.

This year Showpo got involved by dressing a crew of our favourite TikTok and Instagram influencers, from Jilissa to Devyn Winkler and Cindy Mello. And while there are no strict rules to festival fashion, some key trends have emerged - both at Coachella and in our epic festival range (read more in our Ultimate Guide to Festival Style This Season).

Shimmer and Shine

Who doesn’t wanna go to a desert disco? This season, the Coachella girlies - and Harry! - are serving sparkles and glitter, from Y2K-inspired mesh dresses and tops with cowl necks and butterfly shapes to futuristic pieces with circle disc sequins and metallic detailing.

Cowgirl Cool

It wouldn’t be Coachella without some Wild Wild West references. Cowboy hats, paisley bandannas and fringed bits have long popped up in festival outfits, but our fave Western look has to be the cowboy (or cowgirl) boot. Knee-high or calf-high, pared-back or pretty, it’s sturdy but stylish and goes with everything.

Lotsa Skin

Music festivals are back baby - and so is our desire to dress up with the smallest amount of fabric possible. At Coachella and beyond, we’re revealing some skin with plunging necklines, sheer looks, sarong-style mini skirts and tiny tops teamed with slouchy low-rise trousers.

Remixed Rock 'n' Roll

Turn up the main character energy with a look that says she’s in the band - or at the very least headed backstage. We’re thinking grungy black pieces glammed up with expertly layered accessories, sheer fabrics or metallics, and just the right dose of timeless dark denim.

White Hot

Is it risky? A little, yeah. Is it iconic? Absolutely. This Coachella we keep spotting that white-on-white look, from white mini dresses with matching cowboy boots to multi-tiered boho dresses with sneakers. Just make sure you get your pictures before the dust descends!

Rave-Ready Brights

Sahara Tent fans, where you at? Sometimes we just wanna skip the main stage and go straight to the dance hotspots. If this is you, match your rave-babe mood with a hyper-bright ensemble in hot pink, lime green, zesty orange, neon lilac or a rainbow of bright sequins.
