They’re forever trending, but each season we find new reasons to love them.
Yes, we’re talking about blazers. From the days of wearing a classic women’s blazer almost exclusively with jeans and a tee, to the current era of limitless styles available - this wardrobe staple just keeps getting better.
To shake up your blazer game, read on for our freshest looks for 2022 and how to style them.
Our most popular blazer right now is a little boxy, with a structured but not-too-big shoulder, notched lapel and hem that sits halfway down the calf. This shape + a mini skirt = fashion heaven.
Another mini-friendly style flying out the door sits higher at the hip, but nips in at the waist. It's a classic look but lands on our list for being so dang flattering.

A matching blazer and pant is also a classic look, but at Showpo it’s never boring.
Less boardroom, more dancefloor, the suit of the season is impeccably cut and made in zesty bright colours. Wear it to work with a sleek shirt, or for nights out go topless underneath.

The sweet spot between the two options above is the matching blazer and short!
Once less common, this summery combo is now everywhere. Our best casual blazers are made from linens and other lightweight fabrics, with structured mini shorts to match.

Another co-ord trend we’re picking up on is the matching blazer and top. A playful mix of proportions, it tends to involve a long-line blazer and smaller corset or bralette.
Why not add a matching trouser too? Then round out your three-piece look with some fun platform slides!

We can’t say exactly why the silhouette of a blazer and mini dress is so darn satisfying - especially when paired with a bougie pair of shoes. It just is, okay.
This season, up the ante with an oversized blazer in an electric cobalt blue or look-at-me pink. Let it stand out against a fresh white bodycon mini, or have fun with matching layers.

Dial up the drama even more with a blazer that’s not just hiding a dress - it is the dress.
Blazer dresses this season are short and hot, with an emphasis on the waist. Cinch yours in with a self-fastening tie, utility drawstring look or wrap design.

Did we mention drama? You’ll find it in spades with this confident colour-blocked look.
Pick a blazer or blazer set in your bold hue of choice, then add a knee-high boot or heel in a contrasting but complimentary shade.

Another way of challenging blazer norms - of being a trailblazer, if you will! - is by pairing yours with denim cut-offs and heels.
It may feel risque, but with the right structured blazer and short, sweetie you’ll look amazing.

If you can’t see yourself in a blazer with denim shorts and stilettos, but still crave a street-style aesthetic - why not try a blazer and trending pant instead?
This look is about a subtle symphony of flattering cuts and textures. Think blazers in our best fabrics, like luxe check, paired with tight black leggings or leatherette pants.

After even more check? Check!
From preppy houndstooth to colourful plaid styles, this retro-tinged look is bigger than ever. We dig an oversized check blazer with a white button-up shirt and knee-high boots or heels.

We’d also be foolish not to mention one of our fave recent team-ups: blazers with activewear.
The sleek simplicity of a neutral-toned blazer is the perfect match for sporty bike shorts and crop tops. Keep the blazer oversized and add sneakers, or go for a narrower silhouette and finish the look with heels.

We’re really saving the best for last here. Bralettes are an unstoppable trend, and they look so fresh right now with blazers.
For chef’s-kiss proportions, try an oversized blazer, bralette and straight-leg jean or pant. Match your top two layers, or choose a bright bralette for a pop of colour.
