As a fashion content creator, I often receive a lot of PR packages, which I truly appreciate. But there came a point where I realized I was over-consuming, and it didn’t sit right with me. I started feeling uneasy knowing I could be contributing to the world’s waste problem. Plus, with my wider hips and smaller waist, many of the items didn’t even fit properly (my biggest struggle) so I wasn’t sharing all of it with you. Instead, I’d often give them away to friends and family. Lately, I’ve become more selective about the clothes I accept from brands. If I absolutely love something and it flatters my body, then I’ll share it with you. If it doesn’t, you won’t see it on me. I’m also mindful of how much overconsumption is fed to us from social media, and I don’t want to contribute that. But that doesn’t mean I won’t share pieces I love with you guys — you’ll see me post it on my stories and even on my feed. I always try to rewear my pieces as much as I can.
